Wolvennest is the alliance created by Michel Kirby (Arkangel/La Muerte/Legnth of Time), Corvus Von Burtle (Cult Of Erinyes/LVTHN) and Marc De Backer (Mongolito). The group offers compositions based on guitar loops, a frenetic beat and synth notes mixed with a dark, hypnotic and airy voice. The band's debut album featured Der Blutharsch as well as Albin Julius and Marthynna, a member of The Infinite Church Of The Leading Hand, as co-writers. This was then described as a mix of 70's Krautrock with 90's Norwegian Black Metal, all revealing a swirling atmosphere worthy of a film soundtrack. Their second album “VOID” released in 2018 on Van records, brings a darker energy, tinged with mysterious vibes and brings The “Nest” to the most occult places in Europe: House Of The Holy, Chaos Descends, A Thousand Lost Civilizations Brussels Festival, Roadburn Festival, Sauzipf Rocks Festival, Invoking The Ancient Ritual, Tyrant Fest...or to open for references like Wolves In A Throne Room, Dool, Electric Wizard or Urfaust. Expect to end up in a trance and in the most beautiful way...
