A Menina do Mar is the first children's book written by the famous Portuguese writer Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen in 1958. This fairy tale tells the extraordinary friendship between a boy who lives in the countryside and a girl who lives in the sea. The curiosity of the two children allows them, despite their differences, to learn to know and accept each other's world. The girl learns what it means to want something, and what friendship and joy are; the boy agrees to abandon his world and live with the girl at the bottom of the sea.
On Sunday afternoon, we offer you a P'tit brunch du théâtre: something to eat and drink, with a fun workshop for the little ones!
