In the attic, Sophia and Frank discover a trunk from another time. Fabulous fabrics, mysterious machines and old photos: the two friends will play with these forgotten objects and imagine a fantastic story. A young boy, from the earth, becomes friends with a little girl who comes out of the waves. What is the earth? What is the sea? How to show the other his universe? And how to reunite? Adapted from the famous Portuguese tale of Sophia by Mello Breyner Andresen, this show lodges the marvelous in the darkness of an attic to evoke the innocence of childhood, the trials that make you grow up, and the sweet nostalgia for somewhere else.
