A couple, no longer very young, lives vicariously by looking through the living room windows at what is happening at the bottom of their building.
Between fantasies and paranoia, what the two characters observe from the outside leads them, from extravagant ideas to risky deductions, to the worst conspiratorial delusions...
It is also, for her in any case, the nostalgic observation of a love which has been consumed in everyday life where only jealousy or melancholy still glow, like the last embers of a fire which is only waiting for a current of air to be rekindled.
Tragicomic dialogue between two characters where humor, always present, manages to paint a sometimes grating portrait of our (less and less) funny era.
