First part provided by Formed at the conservatory of Montbéliard, Versailles, and then at the Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg, Hugo Diaz studied with great names in classical and jazz saxophone including Vincent David, Philippe Geiss, Jean-Marc Larché, and Michael Alizon. The quartet's repertoire offers significant room for improvisation, drawing inspiration from a range of references, from traditional jazz greats like Thelonious Monk and Coltrane to more contemporary artists such as Robert Glasper and Avishai Cohen.
