A hymn full of humor and emotion to Elvis... and to friendship! They are four guys in blue sneakers, instead of Blue Suede Shoes. Four fans of Elvis who, every August 16th, the day of their idol's death, meet to celebrate him. For one night, Jean-Damien, Joël, Pascal, and Mathurin pretend to be the King. However, this August 16th will be different... With this project, Héloïse Ravet wanted to poetically address the difficulty of being oneself. To feel alive, her fragile-souled antiheroes try on another skin, another voice, to see if it would help. It is ultimately this shared fiction that will give them courage and hope... A tender fable on friendship, shared passions, and the warmth of the communities we build to navigate life.
