After the summer, it starts again!
When thinking about sled dog sports, most would first think of the classic sled races with Huskies, sleds, and snow.
However, now even the regular household and family dog has the chance to enjoy and showcase their talents in sled dog sports.
This leisure sport is gaining more and more popularity.
Theory:
• Theoretical knowledge about sled dog sport
• Introduction to the "traction vehicles"
• The right equipment (harness must fit perfectly)
• General training tips and much more...
Practice:
• Trying the correct harness
• Dry runs without a dog
• Traction exercises with the dogscooter
Which dogs are suitable?
• The dog must be mature and physically healthy
• Minimum weight of 17 kg
• Minimum height of about 45 cm
• Preferably dogs that naturally enjoy running.
