To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the reopening of the Porte des Allemands, the City of Metz invites you to explore the "10 Years Already" exhibition. This exhibition marks the 10th anniversary of the public reopening of this iconic landmark of Metz's heritage.
Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., discover the historical and architectural evolution of the gate, along with recent archaeological discoveries. Learn how it has been restored and transformed into a vibrant cultural space.
"10 Years Already!" also offers a chance to reinterpret the gate through a virtual reality tour, appreciate artworks lent by the Musée de la Cour d'Or, or admire a stunning Lego® model of the monument. A special pathway has been designed specifically for young visitors.
