Last week, we packed up our ski overalls, dug out our neckerchiefs and put on our hats! We headed for France's only open ski area at the start of the season!
At SnowWorld, it's winter all year round, with an indoor slope 620 m long, 35 m wide and 90 m high. You'll find 3 sliding areas: a beginners' slope specially designed for novices, a tobogganing area for little monsters, and a 2-level, half-kilometer slope for experienced skiers or snowboarders. Between the giggles on the toboggan run and the thrill of descending the big slope, we've really rediscovered the sensations of winter sports, and it feels GREAT!
Are you planning a trip to the mountains in the near future and you're not an expert on the slopes? SnowWorld offers courses for all levels, in collaboration with the ESF Amnéville: the best way to learn snowploughing or just get back into the swing of things!

Good to know
Don't have any ski equipment? Don't worry, boots, skis, sledges, snowboards and ski suits can be hired on site. You can also buy gloves directly to protect your little hands from the cold (and because it's compulsory). Helmets are also available free of charge.
Are you more of a chalet or a chucré? At SnowWorld, you'll find not 1 but 2 catering areas with an uninterrupted view of the slopes! Marion waited for us in the warmth of the chalet while we raced down the slopes, and she had a great time ;-) On the menu at the snack bar and restaurant: mountain specialities like fondue, of course, but also pizzas, hot drinks, desserts...
