The extremes of climate are hitting the agricultural world harder and harder. In 2022, drought creates a real shock in the Drôme Valley. Nathanaël Coste, a geographer by training, investigates with organic and conventional farmers for whom the time for adaptation has already begun.
The film "La Théorie du Boxeur" invites us to discover the daily life of farmers facing climate disruption and delve into the complexity of agricultural and food systems. The idea is to change our perspective on agriculture, understand where the levers for change and blockages are… Towards a food democracy. The film addresses several aspects of these issues to allow for a more systemic reading and move away from the "silo" approach, which involves analyzing issues independently of one another.
