The Usch Biver is a Nouspelter original. In addition to his profession as an engineer, he has been a passionate owl baker since 1960. Even Ed Kandel works with great enthusiasm in clay. In 1967, the teacher was a co-founder of the Syndicat d'Initiative and of the "Friends of the Aulebäckermusée" association. Michel Welter is junior president of the AMPA (Amis du Musée et de la Potterie de l'Artisanat), manages the museum and organizes Peckvillercher workshops. They know the history of the village of Nouspelt and the Péckvillercher like hardly anyone else.
