A French journalist meets Salvador Dalí several times for a documentary project. "For the first time tackling a famous figure, Quentin Dupieux concocts again the recipe that is now well-known in his cinema, a striking cast serving a concept film, funny and deconstructed. This time he pushes all these levers to the maximum and with an assumed excess, manages to capture a certain truth of Salvador Dalí in this tribute portrait." (Bande à part)
