During the festive season, the Winterlights will plunge Luxembourg City into a warm and friendly atmosphere. Countless lights and decorations will create a magical atmosphere in the streets and squares, enchanting young and old alike as they stroll through the capital.
ON THE PROGRAM
___Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart at the Place d'Armes___
Marvel at the sumptuous 10 m traditional Luxembourg fir tree, the traditional nativity scene on the bandstand, the “Chahut des quatre éléments” merry-go-round, the “Wanterzuch” magic train and enjoy the 38 market chalets.
___Wantermaart at Constitution Square___
41 chalets will be set up at the foot of the “Gëlle Fra”, plus the 13 m “sapin doré”, the giant pyramid, the 32 m Ferris wheel, trampolines, two merry-go-rounds and panoramic gastronomy overlooking the Pétrusse valley and the Adolphe bridge.
___Niklosmaart at Place de Paris___
14 chalets with stalls of all kinds, a historical acrobat for children and adults, a 22 m Christmas tree with a fairytale decor, and a live music program with over 80 performances...
___Wanterpark at Kinnekswiss___
An 800 m2 skating rink (500 m2 of which is covered), a gastronomic village with 5 chalets and a musical program featuring over 30 DJs.
___Winterkids at Place Guillaume II___
Bring your little ones to enjoy cooking and gift-making workshops, puppet shows, singing and music, reading sessions, an open fire and 4 chalets, including a gourmet chalet...
Theaters, museums and the Cinémathèque will round off the cultural program with a rich and varied offering!
