As part of the Villerupt Italian Festival, these two films will be screened at the Kufa on November 3:
5:30 p.m. screening: I Bambini di Gaza**
Film from 2003, in the middle of the 2nd Intifada, which follows the daily life of Mahmud, a young Palestinian passionate about surfing. He meets Alon, a young Israeli, and Dan, a former surfer. They evolve in a context of war but manage to overcome their prejudices.
8:30 p.m. screening: SCORDATO**
Orlando, a piano tuner suffering from back pain, meets Olga, a physiotherapist who encourages him to explore his family history in Lauria. This introspective film deals with self-acceptance and the effects of loneliness.
