At a time when the growing flow of images takes precedence over their materiality and the book market is losing ground, what meaning should be given to book publishing in the field of photography? What can printed production still bring to photographers? After an overview of markers on publishing in photography and the players who have supported this dissemination of art in Luxembourg, the discussions will focus on the issues of today's photo books: how to create a living archive of an artist's work through books? How can a photographer deploy their creative project through printed media, in an original and innovative way? How can other artistic forms, such as narrative or poetry, be associated with it?
