Critics, curators, artists: confusion or complementarity? At a time when everything is evaluated with stars and thumbs and appreciation is reduced to the binary "like / dislike", the role of the art critic assumes new responsibilities and challenges. It must dissect works, place them in context and relate them to other works, artists, artistic disciplines, and periods. Today, the production of texts supporting artists and exhibitions is no longer the sole domain of critics, and text is no longer the only way to narrate art. Aica Luxembourg invites critics, curators, and artists to consider the new challenges and actors in art criticism.
