For Nicolas Schneider, sculpting is drawing time. Each stage of his work seems poetic. Modeling in wax plays a crucial role in his creative process and becomes a ritual where time seems suspended. Through his "Moments of Landscape", he captures fragments of this time which, like water, evaporates slowly, leaving behind the subtle imprint of a utopia. Viewing his sculptures is like contemplating a horizon where rivers and puddles transform into a transparency of time, a mirror where past and future merge. The flowers on the other shore, those that seem out of reach, evoke the mystery and beauty of things difficult to achieve, symbols of a world that can only be grasped through the knowledge of invisible bridges connecting the present to eternity. Through his art, Nicolas Schneider invites us to cross these secret passages, to explore the subtle paths leading to a deeper understanding of nature, where each moment frozen in bronze is both a memory and a promise. His work questions our relationship with the environment, reminding us of the need to preserve what is destined to disappear.
