Presentation of the ongoing revival of raw earth construction, a material as ancient as architecture itself. Experts in archaeology, material science, architecture, and construction techniques unveil various aspects of earth buildings, echoing the progress of a so-called "participatory" construction site. Apprentices discover how to handcraft an earthen wall by adding a bit of straw and water found on site. From ground to wall, from hand-kneading to high-tech construction, it's an extraordinary journey to what sometimes seems so ordinary: earth material and the act of building. Heatwaves, droughts, late frosts, or pests – the climate is disrupting, and our agriculture must change... But to where? Nathanaël Coste investigates in the Drôme Valley to understand how farmers adapt, while questioning the food resilience of our territories. A film decidedly focused on bees, full of hope, enriching, committed, enthusiastic, and politically incorrect, which will transform our view on this insect and the living world. Our relationship with the living world must evolve if we want to preserve our environment. Changing our view of nature, working with it rather than against it are values this film seeks to share.
