On the planet Gy, or rather the "plan of Gy", the inhabitants resemble us greatly, except they have feathers, and sometimes even wings that grow at puberty. A peculiarity viewed not as a blessing but as a curse. So, what to do with these wings? Hide them? Or unfold and fly, risking the fall? American author of SF and fantasy, Ursula K. Le Guin has always explored themes like gender, feminism, ecology… In this adaptation of one of her short stories, an ethnologist narrates the customs of the strange tribe evolving before our eyes. With spectacular headdresses, furry monsters, and strange pink fruits falling from the sky, a thriving universe unfolds… A fable that encourages us to ponder the notion of difference and the inevitable risk-taking that life itself entails.
