Activation of the 'Black Air' exhibition through movement.
Experimental choreographer and dancer Ayako Kato will stage three poetic and ephemeral explorations inspired by the Black Air exhibition and based on philosophical concepts and field research. In the exhibition space, emptiness and form can be perceived as simultaneously existing in illusions that breathe, change, and transform perpetually.
The actions of the human body interact directly with the invisible and imperceptible dance of atoms in accordance with the movements of the universe, transforming physiological and psychological perceptions into images. Using black air, this choreography of movements will explore subtle transformations and transitions by focusing on the channelling of air, energy, gravity, and form flows through space and time.
