What music does to us. That is what Weinender Mond is about, a production for which Jacques Schiltz and Claire Wagener are responsible. A group of people meet in a salon, who love to sing and are enthusiastic about art. Depending on the mood, they sing a song by Franz Schubert or a piece by Arnold Schönberg. Together with the Kammerata Luxembourg ensemble, the directing duo takes us on a journey through the history of music, supplemented by literary commentaries by Paul Celan, for example. The movement leads to contemporary music (including Telefonitis by Claude Lenners) and to the question of what place music has today between consolation, harmony and silence.
