Concert by the cross-border symphonic choir Sintonia: "In this Moment" featuring a musical ensemble from the Thionville - Moselle Symphony (string quartet, piano, guitar). Program includes works by Ola Gjeilo, Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre, Stephen Paulus. Choir and orchestra conductor: Salvatore PERRI. In these troubled times, In This Moment is an invitation to refocus, through the grace of music, on the present moment, on the very presence of the world around us, to rediscover what moves us and what we love in it. This is achieved through both sacred and secular tunes which often evoke the beauty of nature, love, nostalgia for one's homeland, and the promise of happiness. These tunes come from contemporary American composers – and some from Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway) – who are eager to share their resilient and luminous, sometimes even playful vision of existence.
