Each participant will use their "Thinking Body" and "Dancing Mind". The "Theater-Dance" workshop is open to everyone, with or without experience. We use an original method inspired by Pina Bausch's Tanztheater, modern and contemporary dance, and Jerzy Grotowski's work on "physical actions." Participants will play with gestures, movements, voice, interaction, looking for meaningful and playful sequences, in connection to each other, in a pleasant and joyful setting, aiming to share an intense experience of personal development, creativity, and well-being. The masterclass will be conducted by Afra Crudo: "A first part will be dedicated to learning the typical movements of Pina Bausch's Tanztheater, movements that need to be connected with music, with the possibility of also constructing a choreography. The second part will focus on personal expression, where each participant is invited to present either an improvisation or a pre-constructed piece. They should bring along any materials that might be useful, such as a text, a song, music, clothing, costumes, or wigs."
