Where is the path?
Set in a dystopian rural England, we follow the story of William Bloor, a young man tasked by the state with investigating Samuel and Judith Covey's farm, which is suspected of being infested with foxes. In this oppressive world, these animals are considered dangerous enemies, capable of ruining crops and threatening the social order, and must be eradicated at all costs. As his investigation progresses, William uncovers a world of hidden tensions, buried secrets, and blind beliefs. A gripping story where each character fights for survival in an environment where the truth is as elusive as a fox in the night.
Dawn King is a British playwright acclaimed for her talent for creating intriguing worlds and tackling contemporary social issues with remarkable psychological depth. With Foxfinder, she explores themes of manipulation, government control, and the fragility of perceived reality, while leaving viewers to reflect on human nature and the destructive power of collective fear.
