Discover the mysteries of the cosmos during the Astronomy Day & Night, taking place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Romanesque Church and the Priory. A full day of interactive activities and stargazing awaits you.
- 2:30 PM – Sun Observation
Using a solar telescope, the Astroloisirs club invites you to observe the Sun safely.
- Pinhole Camera Workshop | 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Led by Virginie Borace
- 4:30 PM – Official Opening Ceremony
Kick-off of the event in the presence of local officials and organizers.
- 5:00 PM – Cosmology Conference

Topic: "Cosmology: 10 Things You Should Know About the Universe"
Presented by Mr. François Kinard, Mayor of Aubange.

Offered by the municipality — a friendly moment to share.

Around the Romanesque Church
The Astroloisirs club will provide telescopes for night sky observation.
- 9:00 PM – Stories Under the Stars
Told by Michel Grosjean from Astroloisirs, in coordination with the stargazing session.

Open from Saturday, with guided tours for schools on Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, June 3, hosted by Astroloisirs members.
- Light Pollution Awareness Booth
Run by Magali Bailly (Agglomération du Grand Longwy)

Available all day and evening, provided by local community associations.
