The General Patton Memorial Museum is dedicated to a figure in the liberation of Luxembourg, but it also allows you to learn more about the Nazi occupation, the Battle of the Ardennes in this country, and the history of the air war that took place there. occurred.
The little +: A room is devoted to military archeology and presents an important collection of weapons, ammunition and pieces of equipment, discovered between 1975 and 1995 on the former battlefields of Luxembourg. Also, a room in the museum is dedicated to military planes crashed on Luxembourg territory during the Second World War, there are about 250 of them. In this room, you can discover the remains of about thirty German, American, British and French including 6 complete engines.
