If the world of printing and printing techniques has always intrigued you, head to the Kulturhuef museum. You can discover all the secrets there, through various exhibitions and interactive terminals on site. Ready to become knowledgeable on the subject?
Currently, the museum hosts two permanent exhibitions: "Gutentberg revisited" and "Playing cards - Dieudonné".
In the first, you can stroll through the aisles and learn more about the history of printing, with timelines and collectibles such as period machines.
In the second, it jumps to 1754, when the factory of the famous Jean Dieudonnée was created. Card games were produced there which were exported almost everywhere abroad until 1880.
Interactive terminals inform you on different subjects throughout your visit. You can even take part in guided tours of the exhibitions which take place every Sunday, to listen to new anecdotes. In addition to that, an accompanying booklet for curious little ones, with cool puzzles and fun games is available at reception.
Good to know
The museum’s little extra? Great workshops for children and adults are regularly organized: calligraphy workshop, "Print" workshop, card creation... Perfect for coming and having fun all year round.
For guided tours, remember to reserve your place.
