Spanish singer LUZ CASAL is one of the great icons of Rock en Español, although she has transcended the genre to sing pop, folk and even classical music. With her warm, husky voice and sensitive covers, LUZ CASAL sings about love in the great tradition of European song.

Movie fans will probably know her from "Piensa En Mi," the song she sang for Pedro Almodovar's 1991 film "High Heels."

LUZ CASAL has a 40-year career and is an undisputed reference in the world of Spanish music, and by extension European.

After a 5-year absence, she released the album “Las Ventanas de Mi Alma” (The Windows of My Soul) in 2023, the most personal and autobiographical opus of her career. As passionate as ever, LUZ CASAL explores new sounds. She reaches out to the listener in each song, demystifies her own demons – and those of others – and lets hope take over. Warm, furious, always eclectic, intimate and thoughtful, LUZ CASAL has many strings to her bow.
