At the mere mention of the Austrian capital, it blows like a nostalgic wind of effervescence and frivolity. The Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra is happy to bring back to life the canons of a fantasized Vienna to begin the year 2025 in a festive atmosphere. The opportunity to discover live or to rehear the great classics of the genre that made crinolines and gala uniforms rock.
And to pay homage to a Vienna that he considers to be one of the cradles of classical music but also one of the greatest European crossroads, the conductor Marianno Chiachiarini wanted to enrich the traditional program with warm notes from the 'Spain… We bet that sangria will do harm to champagne!
The OCL will perform, among others, works by Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, Manuel de Falla, Emmanuel Chabrier, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Strauss II, Johannes Brahms.
The Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra is financially supported by the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture. He is a member of the Alliance Musicale federation.
