After the Kogoba Basigui project, which brought together their two orchestras, Eve Risser and Naïny Diabaté strengthen their artistic complicity around a new piano-voice repertoire. “Anw Be Yonbolo” is a Bambara expression which means “we are together”: this is what the two artists seem to proclaim to each other, but also to the public and to guest Piers Faccini on stage alongside them. Alternating between intensity and gentleness, on strong themes such as the condition of women and dignity, Anw Be Yonbolo is a feverish dialogue that resonates in each of us.
