Specialising in hypnotic, discordant repetition, drunken tales and radical politics, Loose Articles are a Manchester punk quartet with a lot to say. Their music speaks to anyone determined to navigate the age of austerity with tongue in cheek, pint in hand and both feet firmly on the dancefloor.
► ADVERSE96
Formed in 2015, Adverse96 tends to find a balanced link between punk and hardcore. The band's name is inspired by the contradiction between its members' adolescence (in 1996) and the adversity they face in their daily lives today. The band consists of four musicians: Philip, Sambo, Laurent and Antoine, half of whom were part of the punk rock band Nervous Chillin. After a first EP, Last Stop Before Terminus, released in 2015, Adverse96 released Anger Ocean Kept Inside in March 2018, in which the musical influences broaden further by drawing on post-hardcore.
In October 2023, they released their first full-length album “Clear The Lane”, available on all digital platforms and even had Death By Stereo’s Efrem Shulz featured on the song “Rubin Carter”. They will tour some Eurozone countries in May 2024 with Canada’s Pro Wrestling The Band.
