We Need To Find Each Other de Brian ca

For this creation, Brian Ca focuses his research around the themes of memory, identity and time.

Through a hybrid and intergenerational performance, drawing on our collective archives, the protagonists seek to create a sensory dialogue, between themselves, but also with the audience placed in 360° on stage. In this performative space, a body, that of Douglas, 67 years old, is lying on a dissection table during the public entrance. He asks himself: "What happens if I forget to remember? How can I understand a past that I have not lived? What am I doing here?"

What if forgetting oneself and one's past, questioning one's identity, gender or memories, allowed us to emerge with new perspectives? Could we open up possibilities for reimagining? What are the common questions that will lead us to a broader reflection on our expectations and our stories? How can we imagine together new modalities of reciprocal, non-hierarchical exchange that will allow us to coexist in a more meaningful way?
