Conference on Luxembourg's Recovery and Resilience Plan
The European Commission and the Luxembourg government are jointly organising a conference on Luxembourg's Recovery and Resilience Plan which will take place on the afternoon of 17 September 2024 at Neimënster Abbey, in French.
Luxembourg’s Recovery and Resilience Plan was launched in July 2021. A series of reforms and investments, together with EU grants under the Recovery and Resilience Facility amounting to €83 million, are helping the country overcome the COVID-19 crisis and prepare for future challenges, including through the green and digital transition. In July 2024, the European Commission adopted a proposal to complement Luxembourg’s plan with measures to reduce the EU’s dependence on Russian fossil fuel imports (the so-called “REPowerEU” component). The revised plan now amounts to €241.1 million in grants and covers 10 reforms and 13 investments.
Which projects are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan? How does the Recovery and Resilience Facility help the EU and Luxembourg? The European Commission and the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance will discuss the projects carried out thanks to the plan during this second annual event.
