Mia Kinsch reveals the universe she carries within her. She creates colorful, naive, and expressive works of art, inspired by nature and the body. Her artistic practice explores the place of women in our society, their rights, and gender inequalities. It also allows her to digest her experience and express it meaningfully. The nude body and its relationship with her own body occupy a large place in her work. Through art, she seeks a liberating practice where she dictates her choices. Mia is passionate about the body and what it represents, how we are perceived, especially as women. It’s an exploration of the boundaries surrounding the body today. Mia Kinsch is a Luxembourgish artist. She studied and lived in Belgium before returning to Luxembourg last year. Graduated in graphic design, she is an independent artist specializing in painting. Mia first exhibited her work in 2021 during the first group exhibitions of YLA. Last year, she presented her first solo exhibition in collaboration with the Reuter Bausch Art Gallery, and this year, she exhibited during a duo exhibition 'Couleurs en échos' at the Reuter Bausch Art Gallery. She has collaborated with Rotondes, Fairtrade, JIF Luxembourg, Lëtzebuerger Land, Lost Weekend, Voix des jeunes femmes*, etc. Mia recently illustrated the new edition of 'Reenert' and participated in exhibitions in Brussels and Luxembourg over the past two years. In addition to her own art, she hosts workshops and worked part-time as an assistant in a gallery. 'One fine evening with…' is a carefully prepared event dedicated to highlighting an emerging or established talent from Luxembourg. Artists from music, dance, visual arts, or literature will have the opportunity to present their work. One takes the time to dedicate an entire evening to the artist, exploring the motivations behind their creation, whether it's their desires, fears, or sources of inspiration. 'One fine evening with…' offers an intimate glimpse into each artist's world and will be hosted by Luc Spada.
