Intensive stand-up comedy workshop in English. This course is perfect for beginner comedians, people interested but inexperienced, performers from other branches and working comedians that want to solidify their theoretical tools. Learning to do comedy is not only for those who want to make people laugh on stage. It can be used for all kinds of professional and personal situations. Presentations in the office, teaching classes, conferences, trainings, creative writing, etc. We will study comedy theory (basics, resources, formulas, etc.), tools for the stage, how to create your original material and present it to an audience. The workshop is theoretical-practical, so we will also do relevant exercises to fortify those comic muscles and consolidate the knowledge obtained. At the end, we will work the comedy routine of each of the participants. The objectives of the course are: - That you better understand how comedy works and how to use it to your advantage in your personal and professional environment. - To learn how to create original comedy material. - To be able to present it in the best way on stage. - That you finish the course with a 3-5 minute routine ready for your first Open-mic or just a new routine if you are already a performing comedian.

Dates: Saturday, September 7. 14:00 to 18:00. Sunday, September 8. 12:30 to 16:30. Duration 4 hours per day. - Total 8 hours (May be extended a bit, depending on pace and group size). There will be no break for lunch.
