Formed in 2010 by Tcho and drummer Beb, Dad was a bad mother quickly integrated Fidel as vocalist, Mémé on guitar, and Pépé on bass. Initially focused on covers, the band started performing locally between Thionville, Metz and Nancy in 2013. In 2015, after the drummer left, Mémé switched to drums and the band began composing their own blues and grunge-influenced tracks. In 2018, they released their first EP and increased their live performances in Lorraine, including acoustic setups. Their music, intense and gritty, aims to explore raw and powerful emotions.
