From Beethoven and Ravel to Boris Liatochinski, a great Ukrainian composer, with the Elysée Quartet!
The Elysée Quartet was founded in 1995 by former members of two quartets, each having won the Grand Prize at the International Évian Competition: the Anton Quartets and Ysaÿe. The unique aspect of the Elysée Quartet lies in the confrontation and assimilation of two different schools: the French school and the Russian school.
These two schools enrich each other and allow a fusion of different ideas, the development of new dimensions in music interpretation, and a powerful expression of great originality.
