Conference-debate entitled "Climate Change: What Challenges for Science and Society?" organized by the Europe Direct Centre at the University of Luxembourg and its partners: Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH), University of Luxembourg, Friends of the University of Luxembourg, BEI Institute, University of Applied Science Institute, Geneva. The keynote speaker is Professor Petre Roman, President of the University of Applied Sciences Institute of Geneva (UMEF) and former Prime Minister of Romania. Other speakers: Prof. Marie-Hélène Jobin, Vice-Rector for Partnerships and International Relations, University of Luxembourg; Dr. Gunter Fischer, Senior Advisor at the European Investment Bank; Mr. Gérard Hoffmann, President of the Friends of the University of Luxembourg; Dr. Elena Danescu, Research Scientist at C²DH, Coordinator of the Europe Direct Centre at the University of Luxembourg.
