Electromobility: Myths and Common Misconceptions
This thematic event will mark the end of the Sanem Municipality's Environment Year and will be entirely dedicated to electromobility. Although it's a divisive topic, this form of mobility is the main sustainable and future-oriented way to travel. During this evening, we will try to comfortably and enjoyably address the many myths and misconceptions. We have gathered three guests with the appropriate expertise to guide us through the jungle of erroneous information. Marvin Rassel, a member of the SWIO team, a company offering comprehensive solutions for charging infrastructure for individuals and businesses, will enlighten us on the speed and efficiency with which charging options will be developed in the future to allow flexible and widespread use of electric vehicles. Jeff Mangers, who completed a PhD in 2022 on the analysis of end-of-life processes in mechanical engineering, will provide valuable information on recycling. He will notably address the question of the origin of batteries and their destination at the end of their cycle. Lucien Reger, actively involved in sustainability issues since the 1980s, has six years of experience with electromobility. As a family man and entrepreneur, he has traveled long distances and can share his experience on managing long-distance travel in an electric vehicle. Simultaneous French and German translation guaranteed.
