Ever been to a social event and realized that no one there is your age? You’re surrounded by people, but they just don’t get where you’re coming from. You’re looking for conversations with people in your own stage of life—those who are juggling careers, passions, and finding their way through the same challenges and excitement you face. We know that feeling, and that's exactly why we have planned this Fast Friending social for the 20-35 age group. Imagine a space filled with people who understand each other. You’ll meet people in your age range who share similar experiences and perspectives. Whether you’re talking about your latest travels, career moves, or navigating the ups and downs of adulthood, you’ll be in the company of those who can relate.
**Here’s how our Fast Friending works:-**
- We will meet at 7.00 and have time to settle down and get a drink.
- From about 7.30 to 8.30, we will run the fast friending system. Half of the group (mixed gender) will stay in a fixed place and the other half of the group (mixed gender) will be asked to rotate. During these intervals, each pair of people will get the opportunity to talk to each other.
- Lara will be hosting the evening and she will organize the fast friending process. She will indicate when you should move to the next person.
- From 8.30 onwards, we will stop the system and people will have the chance to chat and interact with those they have met as well as others.
Our venue for the evening - Updown Bar is spacious, has comfortable seating and not very noisy. We have a reserved area where our members can meet each other in a supportive environment.
