As Long as We Remain Silent
An ultra-sensitive ode to the liberation of speech. Margot was born at 25, the day she remembered. As Long as We Remain Silent recounts the repair journey of a person who experienced incest during childhood. In this theater/dance duo performance, imagined by a street theater company, the heroine is embodied by two performers. With much delicacy, they tell us a story unfortunately too common, presenting a chronological narrative filled with stages and enigmas that eventually become clear. From intense struggles to radiant joys, Margot lets resound the muffled words that dance inside her, releasing her speech in the hope of freeing society from silence and denial. This powerful performance was selected last year by the Club Programmation.
