Animal Farm - Theater
The animals of the Farm are fed up with being mistreated by their farmer. When they manage to chase him away, they start dreaming of a world where everyone will be free and equal. But gradually, three pigs, more cunning than the others, take privileges... Like Jean de La Fontaine, in this famous political fable, George Orwell uses animals to denounce dictatorship. While subtly criticizing tyrants, he also points out the passivity of the beasts who allow their revolution to be confiscated. With this satire, he warns us: our democracy is fragile, we must remain vigilant. A show with strong visual biases, remarkably inventive, that brings an entire world to life with its blend of object theater, masks, and live music.
