The Casino Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to the launch of the new Cahier d'images edited by the graphic designer Reza Kianpour. Aiming to give materiality (and duration) to images otherwise swiped away in a quick scroll, Reza Kianpour launched Cahier d'images in 2017. Initially created as a series of 16-page notebooks in A5 format primarily featuring his work, the project quickly expanded. Reza chose to widen the scope by collaborating with photographers, illustrators, and designers from near and far. The result: a delicate case between a global map and a personal moodboard. After the release in 2022 and presentation at the Casino of a first 64-page book, Reza invites Kevin Muhlen, director of the Casino, as curator of this second volume. The in-house riso printing is executed by Charles Rouleau (Casino Display coordinator). Together, they invest the Casino foyer to combine images and sounds to the rhythm of the risograph on the launch evening.
