For its first appearance at the Théâtres de la Ville, the Taiwanese company B.DANCE presents the show Before We Say Goodbye, choreographed by its artistic director, Po-Cheng Tsai, who has been developing a unique choreographic language for ten years, blending traditional Asian movements and martial arts with contemporary dance. The piece weaves connections between the life stories of the ten dancers and those of several elders from the community to create a readable tapestry, filled with their most intimate memories. The dancers' emotions are channeled into physical movements, representing the rain and shine of life: a performance like a delicate ceremony of commemoration and reminiscence, a celebration of the human will that resonates in our hearts.
