It's Midsummer Night, a popular festival celebrating the summer solstice. Banquets are set up, bonfires are lit, and people dance, drink and sing. Legend has it that on this night, flowers acquire magical powers, men and women go mad, and dreams open the door to the most bizarre fantasies. But when they wake up, this journey into the world of all possibilities will seem like a hallucination with no future.
With techno music as a backdrop, Jean-Michel d'Hoop makes this love story resonate more than 400 years after its creation, asserting the right to love in complete freedom. A fairytale vaudeville, invigorating and uninhibited through Shakespearean forests, where screams, laughter, tears, seduction, poetry, humour, manipulation, panic and nervous breakdowns resound!
