On the occasion of its traditional Christmas concert, the Municipal Harmony of Metz will perform a piece that will delight young and old alike: The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns. Composed in 1886, this humorous collection musically depicts a wide bestiary with formidable efficiency: from the royal march of the lion, to the obsessive cuckoo, to the imposing elephant, not to mention the poetic and graceful swan... The well-known original work will be presented in a completely new version combining dance and harmony orchestra. Other surprises will be added to this fantastic and joyful program.
