The characters in his works are depersonalized beings, reduced to the state of objects that, in their anonymity, convey a universal message: they are like superheroes or supervillains who seem to step straight from the pages of a comic book to meet the viewer in a blend of tragedy and comedy. Sometimes in contrast, sometimes in harmony with their environment, they are a reflection of our own ambivalence towards nature. Marcus Günther – Jean François Toneatti
