Silent cinema and talking piano: humor in black and white
“Silent films are offered for musical interpretation,
like Mozart and Chopin, can always be renewed by a new vision of the performer." This is precisely the vision that Jean-François Zygel proposes by setting short films from the Pathé collection to music from the piano. The black and white of the film will thus respond to the colorful interpretation of this inspired musician, "madly in love with silent cinema since the age of 25."
