For the first time in Moselle, near Metz, the Saint-Joseph church will be the scene of an immense immersive, visual and sound creation.
All the walls, pillars, and vaults will be draped with monumental images, perfectly chiseled to the architecture: in a video mapping of nearly one hectare! A unique multi-sensory experience carried by the performance of 150 actors and extras.
The story told here, that of the Moselle, that of Metz, will take you from the eve of the war of 1870, to the aftermath of the Second World War. Through the intersecting stories of often uprooted men and women - sometimes German, sometimes French - swept up in a particularly tormented era, against a backdrop of conflicts, but also of peace found, forgiveness and reconciliation.
An hour and a quarter of a historical, romantic and poetic journey.
