The Photographie mon amour festival returns in 2025 for a third edition at the Saint-Vincent Basilica with the support of the City of Metz.
This year, Bout d'essais welcomes photographer Nicolas Boutruche in residence to create two works consisting of cutting out the facade of buildings in Metz to bring them to life thanks to his famous scenes. The unique work created in Metz will be unveiled during the highlight and exhibited at the Saint-Vincent Basilica.
The other photographers exhibited are Isabelle Chapuis who invites spectators to experience the living: human, animal and plant. Vincent Muller documents a new form of intimacy that is rarely discussed by asking the question of the relationship between man and the object. Randa Mirza denounces the current events of the destruction and reconstruction of the city of Beirut in Lebanon where she is from. Finally, an exhibition will be dedicated to the retrospective of the activities of the collective Bout d'essais, organizer of the festival, as well as to young creation. The winner of the 2024 edition of Musicophotographie, Lucas Frayssinet presents a series on the different communities of the Faroe Islands.
